For Fall 2023* entry and beyond.

The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management (HCAM) was designed to provide students with the skills they need to succeed within the modern health care workforce. The curriculum was developed with three major priorities: (i) Project-Based Learning, (ii) Data-Driven Skill Set and an (iii) Operational Focus. Throughout the program, students will complete a variety of projects designed to allow them to actively apply knowledge, skills and abilities learned in the classroom. Imbedded throughout the curriculum are emphasized career-ready attributes to assist students in their professional trajectory and development. Additionally, the HCAM program culminates with a 120-hr faculty supervised capstone experience whereby the student will be connected to community partners, either locally or globally.

Students earning this degree can pursue careers including Hospital Administrator, Health Services Manager, Nursing Home Manager or Health Administrator. Students who wish to pursue more senior roles in these areas can go on to complete a Master of Health Leadership or an MBA in Health Administration after obtaining some work experience.
