MGMT 4100 - Public Health Fundamentals in Pharmacy

This course provides an overview of public health issues related to pharmacy and the pharmaceutical needs of populations. The scope of the class includes national and global concerns. Topics include pharmacy administration topics within a public health context: social marketing, health care systems, health promotion, disease prevention, epidemiology, ethics, culture, law, health education and disaster management. The class format includes the review of current literature and group development of public health research proposals.
