This course is an introductory, college-level mathematics course designed to survey some of the important ideas and practical applications of mathematics and strengthen students’ basic mathematics skills. It presents an overview of contemporary mathematical topics such as problem solving, number theory, algebra, measurement, probability, statistics, and graph theory.
