MATH 1103 - College Algebra 3 Credit(s)
This course will use graphical, numerical, and symbolic representations to review and reinforce the algebra skills necessary for success in precalculus, calculus, and other future courses. Topics include: linear equations and inequalities, functions, graphs, and applications, polynomials and polynomial functions, rational expressions, equations and functions, radical expressions, equations and functions, quadratic equations, and exponential and logarithmic functions. Format: lecture and discussion
General Education Mathematical Sciences General Education Prerequisite(s): MATH 1101 with a grade of C- or better or a satisfactory score on the UHSP Placement Test Restriction(s): No credit awarded if credit has already been received for MATH 1109 or MATH 1110 .
